Tucker & French Family Forest – Gate 2 – SELTThis 6.5-mile loop trail near Kingston, New Hampshire is generally considered easy and takes an average of 2 hours to complete. The forest features a diverse mix of upland forests, shrublands, and wetlands, including extensive beaver-influenced wetlands and more than 2.5 miles of shoreline on the Little River. The Mill Pond Loop offers an interesting loop around beaver flowages with great views of the river and ponds, two bridges, several wildlife openings, and the historic French Mill site, a sawmill that operated here from the early 1700s until 1910. Other notable trails include the French North Trail and Patten Island Loop, each offering distinct views of wetlands, forest corridors, and historic features.
