Tower Hill Pond Trail This loop trail forms a broad loop through forested watershed lands near Candia and Auburn, encircling Tower Hill Pond shoreline. Stretching approximately 3.9 miles, it offers a relatively flat and wide surface suitable for walking and other recreational activities. The trail is good for all skill levels. The path follows an old road grade around Tower Hill Pond and is popular for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and birding, offering expansive views of the pond and surrounding forest. Historic features include old stone foundations from the Maple Falls Brook mill, a site used as early as 1796 with a natural waterfall and stepped ledges. Note that swimming, wading, and fires are prohibited to protect water quality.
