Touisset Marsh Wildlife Refuge This easy loop trail spans approximately 1 mile and can be seasonally wet and muddy. The refuge offers picturesque views of the Kickemuit River and features hardwood forests and fields of flowers that attract butterflies in the summer months. Wildlife to watch for includes deer, red fox, and harbor seals (offshore), with birds commonly found including Eastern Bluebirds, Great Egrets, Ospreys, and Snowy Egrets. An ecological art installation by Leonard Yui is on display along the trails. The shorter length and flat terrain make this an easy stroll for children and families.
