The Parker Pond Loop covers 4.5 miles on flat doubletrack trails, making it an accessible option for various skill levels. The trails take you through a landscape of forests, wetlands, and lakefront, as well as to scenic overlooks that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Throughout the year, Silver Lake State Park houses a range of bird species, including waterfowl, songbirds, and woodland birds, whilea 0.3 mile nature trail immerses visitors in a wild forest world with evidence of deer and turkeys, as well as old homestead foundations and stone walls.
