Shelter Falls This easy hike covers 0.8 milesto the main waterfall attraction, thoughhiking multiple trails on the property adds up to about 4 miles. Cedar Swamp Brook becomes a waterfall near a sheltering rock formation, the namesake feature of this park. The trail is primarilyan out-and-back route through open forest, withside trails allowing visitors to get close to the falls and atop the rock. The falls are best when there has been some rain, androck cliffs provide nice sitting areas. Note thattrails are in poor shape overall with overgrowth, erosion, and fallen trees, andmultiple trail junctures with directional markings can lead to exits on different roads, so navigation care is recommended.
