Rocky Point State Park Rocky Point Walking Trail is an easy hike covering 1.6 miles with an elevation gain of 95 feet, taking about 0.5–1 hour to complete. This is a popular, pleasant, paved walk around a former amusement park with nice views of the bay, with some dirt spur trails and paths along the beach for those wanting a longer trip. The 120-acre park offers nature trails along scenic coastal areas, andseveral structures remain from the historic amusement park, including the 1906 Circle Swing ride tower, Skyliner gondola stations, and a 1964 World’s Fair arch that was relocated here in 1966. The park features accessible facilities including five van-accessible parking spaces and a smooth paved asphalt trail surface that is typically at least 8 feet wide, making it navigable for most wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
