Rock Point Trail Loop is a 1.7-mile loop trail near Burlington, Vermont that is generally considered easy and takes an average of 38 minutes to complete. The trail offers over 2 miles of hiking trails in the heart of Burlington on the shores of Lake Champlain. The trail offers a mix of easy and rocky trails with beautiful views of Lake Champlain. Rock Point contains rare and fragile plant species, upland wetland and cliff habitats for wildlife, and one of the most visible exposures of a dolomite thrust fault in North America. Access is free, but visitors must obtain a trail pass from the Rock Point website before arriving.
