Robinson State Park offers a 1.9-mile easy loop trail that takes approximately 41 minutes to complete. The park features more than 20 miles of trails with terrific views, ranging froma paved road that runs along the Westfield River available for cars, foot traffic, bicycles, strollers, and wheelchairsto single-track trails through the woods. Many trails offer scenic views of the Westfield River, including the 17-acre island west of the falls at Mittineague, which is one of the park’s most picturesque spots. The park features abundant wildlife, including rare dragonflies and turtles. Visitors can also explore historical Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) buildings or hike along a portion of the Metacomet-Monadnock trail.
