Pleasant Mountain – Bald Peak Trail Parking The Bald Peak Trail is a 4.7-mile out-and-back trail near Bridgton, Maine that is generally considered a challenging route, taking an average of 3 hours 27 minutes to complete. The trail leads up to Big Bald Peak and then swings south to Pleasant Mountain’s summit. The summits provide commanding views of the White Mountains to the west and spectacular views to the east. An old fire tower still stands on the summit. The land and trail is owned and managed by Loon Echo Land Trust, a non-profit located in Bridgton, Maine.
