Papermill Trail / Miller Park, Lisbon, Maine The Papermill Trail celebrates the heritage of mills in the development of the town of Lisbon while providing an easy, pleasant trail experience for users of all abilities. This 3.6-mile out-and-back trail is generally considered an easy route, taking an average of 1 hour 13 minutes to complete. The trail follows the Sabattus River across slightly undulating—but rarely steep—terrain, with a more wooded and scenic area for most of the trail. Remnants of a bridge built as part of mill-related development are visible shortly after the trail comes within view of the river. The trail reaches Miller Park where the Sabattus River meets the Androscoggin River, with parking, a boat launch, and a trail information panel available. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
