Odiorne Point State Park The main Odiorne Point Loop Trail is a 2.8-mile loop trail that is generally considered easy and takes an average of 53 minutes to complete. The trail wanders through woodlands and salt marshes, and walks along the rocky shore with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Visitors pass by remnants of the historic Fort Dearborn, which protected the harbor during WWII. The park offers miles of walking trails (many handicapped accessible), picnic areas, and features seven distinctly different natural habitats including woodlands, uplands, salt marsh, ponds, sandy beach, and rocky shore. The park also features the Seacoast Science Center and the remains of World War II Fort Dearborn.
