Public access is possible through the DPW property via a trail, with parking and a pedestrian bridge across Scotty Hollow Brook. The property features woodland scenery withlarge rock formations, little ponds, and foot bridges. This66-acre conservation areaoffers a quiet, accessible hike suitable for casual walkers and runners. Note that the trail is very close to the Lowell Sportsmens Club, so hikers can expect to hear gunshots from the nearby range.
