Moultonborough Falls Conservation Area offers an easy hiking experience, with the Blue Trail covering 1.7 miles and gaining only 82 feet of elevation. This is an out-and-back trail thathugs the shoreline of the Red Hill River. The 37-acre conservation area is undeveloped land in a high-priority conservation area, featuringover 3,000 feet of shoreline along the Red Hill River and Lee’s Pond marshland. In the 1800s, this area was the thriving village of Moultonborough Falls, offering historical significance alongside its wildlife habitat and scenic river views.
