Mosher Hill Falls, Wilton, Maine Mosher Hill Falls is one of Maine’s most scenic and accessible waterfalls. This is an easy hike suitable for families and casual visitors. The Mosher Falls trail is composed of two well-worn pathways, which may be walked separately, out and back – or combined to make a loop by crossing the brook below the falls. The trail is short at approximately 0.1 mile (about 500 feet) from Mosher Hill Road to the falls on Mosher Brook. The falls are a 45 foot drop in horsetail pattern, dropping into a pristine ravine pool. The area hosts wildlife including moose, deer, brook trout, and birds. The location offers opportunities for hiking, birding, fishing, and snowshoeing.
