Millers Pond State Park The most popular trail is the 1.5-mile Millers Pond Trail, an easy loop that takes about 29 minutes to complete. This trail begins from the parking lot off Foot Hills Road and loops around Millers Pond through the forest, offering nice water views and spots for swimming. The park contains about five miles of trails within its boundaries and connects to at least another eight miles in the surrounding Cockaponset State Forest. For a more challenging option, the 4.4-mile Red Trail Loop is a moderately challenging routewithsteep sections and rock scrambles. This trail winds through a mix of lush forests and rocky terrain, leading you to Bear Rock, a stunning outcrop with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
