Mill Trail, Stowe, Vermont Mill Trail is an easy hike that gives a nice mix of nature and history, withthis 1.3 mile out-and-back route following an old logging road. The trail features a well-defined path with the Little River running on the downhill side, and Bingham Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in the Stowe area, with cascades plummeting through the gorge. This property is historically significant as it houses the site of the former Orlando Turner Saw Mill and Tub Factory, and a log cabin owned by the Lichtenthaeler family from the early to mid 1900’s. The property is open to the public for hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and wildlife observation.
