Milan Hill Fire Tower is an easy hike covering 0.8 miles with 131 feet of elevation gain, taking about 30 minutes to an hour to complete. The trail is located in Milan Hill State Park, which features a network of trails providing many options for exploring the forests of the park, with most being wide and easy to traverse while offering views of surrounding mountains. The signature attraction isa 1932 fire tower, from whichyou can get a complete view of the mountain ranges in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Canada. Milan Hill State Park is located ten miles north of Berlin near popular areas for hiking, picnicking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing. The park also featuresover 9 miles of groomed nordic ski trails maintained by the Nansen Ski Club, making it a year-round destination.
