MDC Hartford Reservoir 6 is an easy, 3.8-mile loop traillocated in West Hartford, Connecticut. The area is very popular for birding, hiking, and road biking, andfeatures a mostly dirt path between a paved road and the water for easy, almost entirely flat walking. The trail abuts a reported Revolutionary War campsite which was converted to a military hospital after the fighting. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash, andthe reservoir opens daily at sunrise and closes daily at sunset.
