The Marison Trail begins from parking on Route 202 and follows an old woods road southwest into woodlands, connecting to the Bog Trail which features Round Pond and Little Round Pond before continuing to Marsh Road. The trails are rated easyandfollow a lollipop-style loop format. Stonehouse Forest encompasses more than 1,700 acres and features critical habitat for many species, with valuable wetlands and three natural ponds. A network of trails allows exploration of forested uplands, over two dozen wetlands and vernal pools, as well as views from atop a 150-foot-high granite cliff. A kiosk at the trailhead provides additional information about the forest and a map.
