Little Concord Pond is a moderate, out-and-back trail covering 1.2 miles with 177 feet of elevation gain, located in this scenic state park preserve. The trail climbs gradually along a dirt road for 0.6 miles before reaching Little Concord Pond, which offerscold, deep waters home to a brook trout fishery. From the pond, the trail climbs more steeply to a short loop around the exposed summit of Bald Mountain, wherehikers enjoy excellent views of the surrounding area from the bald summit. A trail to Speckled Mountain also leaves from this area, ascending to the ledges and summit of Speckled Mountain. The park is ideal for fishing, swimming, and scenic mountain views.
