Lena Reserve is amoderate difficulty hiking area with 4 miles of trails forming a wide forest loop. Newly expanded trails make full use of the property, offering a scenic woodland experience. The reserve is located in East Haddam’s extensive trail network and is managed as town-owned open space. Trail maps are available at the trailhead and through the East Haddam Land Trust’s interactive trail map. Trails are generally open sunrise to sunset, although some are closed during hunting season.
