Ledyard Glacial Park offers a moderately challenging routefeaturing a unique combination ofrock scramble through a glacial deposit of boulders. The trail system covers approximately 1.2 miles and includesboulders up to 30 feet in diameter tumbled on top of one another. The park preserves some of Ledyard’s unique glacial remains which formed more than 13,000 years ago at the melting of a glacier. Key highlights include a glacial boulder trail and a rock shelter, and an alternative yellow trail bypasses the boulder scramblefor those seeking an easier route.
