Hard’ack Recreation Area spans 200 acres and features hiking, disc golf, mountain biking, and swimming. The hiking trails feature wide, easy-to-navigate paths on gravel and grassy terrain as well as natural paths, with the trail system totaling under two miles and including some hilly sections. A lookout spot offers views of St. Albans and Lake Champlain. In addition to hiking, the recreation area offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and disc golf. Hard’ack is one of Vermont’s few locally operated ski hills.
