Hanson Pines This 0.8-mile loop trail near Rochester, New Hampshire is generally considered easy and takes an average of 14 minutes to complete. The loop starts near Spaulding High School and loops through the woods heading towards the Cocheco River. The unpaved walking trail is a relatively flat, wide trail with a floor of pine needles and leaves, with some roots and rocks, but it is an easy trail and could be accessible for someone with a jogging stroller. The park also features a bridge over the river to walk onto and get a better look at the river. The park contains a thirty acre old growth pine forest, and there are multiple resting benches along the way. Beyond the trail itself, the park is also home to basketball courts, a playground, and an outdoor pool.
