Haley Farm State Park offers an easy to moderate opportunity to hike or ride a bike with views of Long Island Sound. The 267-acre park features 5 miles of well-traveled trails, withthe popular Haley Farm Loop being a moderate 2.9-mile hike that takes about 1–1.5 hours to complete. The loop meanders through meadows and fields with cedar groves and oak-hickory forest, transitioning through marshy shorelines and freshwater wetlands. Key highlights include massive stone walls built by former owner Caleb Haley and a picturesque waterlily pond. The park is connected to Bluff Point State Park over a pedestrian bridge that crosses Amtrak railroad tracks, andthe wheelchair-accessible Haley Farm Bike Trail is part of a 7.5 mile town-owned bikeway routed from Mystic to Groton.
