Grantham Town Forest offers multiple trails branching off the Croydon Turnpike and Grantham Mountain Road with various difficulty levels leading to scenic views, historic ruins, lakes, and lovely streams. The Croydon Turnpike is a wide, level, aband oned dirt roadwaysuitable for a range of abilities. Grantham Mountain Road is a wide historic route where hikers pass the Blue Mountain Snow Duster’s cabin before reaching “Four Corners” intersection with numerous old cellar holes and an old cemetery further up, while the road continues along Corbin Park’s fence, passes south of Lily Pond, climbs over Grantham Ridge and ends at Bean Road in Meriden. The forest is accessible from Exit 13 off I-89, heading north 2.6 miles on Old New Hampshire 10, then left on Miller Pond Road for 2.4 miles to the gravel parking area.
