Frye Field – Wilton, New Hampshire Easy / Walking Area Frye Field is a 97-acre open space offering views to the Monadnocks. A path runs across the top of the field as a ski mobile connector trail; walk down it for 150 yards to a granite bench for mountain panorama views. The hilltop field features Temple Mountain, the Pack Monadnocks, and mountains of Lyndeborough stretching across the horizon, and is located at the top of Abbot Hill (elevation 923 feet) as part of the High Mowing School campus. The area is open for walking, picnicking, and dog walking. Frye Field is part of the High Mowing School campus and is owned by the school; the Temple-Wilton Community Farm maintains the fields.
