Cutts Island Trail is an easy 2.3-mile loop near Kittery Point, Maine. The trail is flat and well-marked, suitable for visitors of all ages. The trail passes through the woods and starts along Chauncey Creek, ending at a marshy area near where Chauncey Creek meets Brave Boat Harbor. It’s a forested walk on a narrow piece of land with views of wetlands on either side, offering scenic views of the protected national wildlife refuge landscape at the trail’s end. Bug spray is recommended for spring and summer months due to water in the area. The trail offers scenic views of the salt marshand is excellent for birding and wildlife viewing.
