Cooley–Jericho Community Forest This upland forest is one of the highest-elevation and largest privately-owned properties in the western White Mountains, highlighted by the prominent ridge lines of Cole Hill and Cooley Hill, with stunning views and rugged terrain. The forest features 6.5 miles of multi-use trails that can be explored via hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and backcountry skiing. The trail system consists of three trails—the Blue Loop, the Yellow Trail, and the Red Trail. The Yellow Trail is a 3.5-mile out-and-back route that is generally considered moderately challenging. The forest provides prime wildlife habitat and black bear, moose, white-tailed deer, turkey, and bobcat have been documented on the property.
