Connor Mill Trail, Unity, Maine This easy trail is a 2.4-mile loopthat offers a pleasant riverside walk through the community. Much of the trail follows the wide, slow river where you’re likely to see kayakers and belted kingfishers. Near the start of the trailhead are the remains of an old mill, and there are a few spots along the river that are nice to swim in on a hot day. The trail is great for birding, cross-country skiing, and fishing, andit’s open year-round. The short east loop from the kiosk is open year-round, while the longer loop past Bacon Brook is closed November 1 through spring.
