Clarksburg State Park encompasses 368 acres of northern hardwood forestand offers a network of scenic trails suitable for various skill levels. The park features 4.5 miles of trails, including the popular 3-mile Pond Loop Trail for hiking and cross-country skiing, withgenerally modest elevation changes, making routes accessible to various skill levels. The park features Mauserts Pond as a central attraction encircled by trails, and provides views of the Berkshire Hills and Vermont’s Green Mountains. Visitors may catch glimpses of moose or otters, andbirdwatching opportunities abound along with seasonal wildflowers. The park allows camping along the edge of Mauserts Pond, andthe pond offers opportunities for swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking.
