The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 25.5-mile paved rail trail located on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. This multi-use rail trail has an easy overall physical rating and is family-friendly. The trail stretches from Dennis to Wellfleet, winding past Brewster’s forests, cranberry bogs and ponds. The trail is suitable for walking, running, biking or rollerblading along scenic paved paths where train tracks once carried passengers and supplies to local Cape Cod destinations. In Brewster, a parking area is located at Route 137 before the trail enters Nickerson State Park just past mile 10, where it passes through for about two-thirds of a mile.
