Difficulty: Easy Trail Type: Loop (Westborough Reservoir Loop is the primary trail)Distance: 2.0 miles with 108 feet of elevation gain; approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete Scenery & Highlights: The trail circles Westborough Reservoir, winding through shaded forest with ferns along the lake shores and over creeks with wooden footbridges and beautiful water views. Benches are available along the way to stop and enjoy the views. The area is home to over 80 varieties of wildflowers. Notable Features: This 144-acre conservation area was purchased in 1969 to protect the town’s water supply, with the Westborough Conservation Area (also known as the Bowman Conservation Area) established that year. The trails are part of the Charm Bracelet trail system that weaves through several conservation areas.
