Quiet woodlands and wetlandscharacterize this short out-and-back route, whichbegins at a parking lot off Chandler Road and provides an important connection to adjacent conservation land and the Bay Circuit Trail. This trail offers more than just a pleasant walk—it’s situated onland once farmed by Armenian settler Kayajan (John) Boloian, who grew celery, tomatoes, and cabbage, and his wife Maritza (Marie), a survivor of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. The preserveis open to the public for non-motorized recreation such as hiking, trail running, leashed dog walking, skiing, and birdwatching.
