The Bellows South Trailhead brings visitors to a sizable hiking, mountain biking, and skiing area in Greylock Glen. The Bellows South is a 1 mile Blue Blaze that leads to the Appalachian Trail on Greylock. The trailhead itself is quite accessible—the trail is mostly flat, with 5-degree inclines at times, stays wider than 32” for most of its length, and is covered by a light layer of gravel. From here, hikers will eventually arrive at the summit of Mount Greylock on both the Bellows Pipe Trail and the Gould Trail. Both paths access panoramic scenic views of Western Mass. Visitors can also hike to the top of Ragged Mountain, where a less-crowded outlook provides views of Mount Greylock.
