Beaver Meadow Trailhead, Morristown, Vermont This moderate hike covers 5.4 miles with an elevation gain of 889 feet, taking approximately2 hours and 28 minutes to complete. The trail is a looplocated within Mount Mansfield State Forest. The trail follows old logging roads into the woods, and there is a trail shelter on the trail. The route leads tothe newly refurbished Beaver Meadow Lodge. Beaver Meadow is a beautiful bowl in Morristown located 1,500 feet below the summits of the Sterling Range. The best times to visit this trail are May through December, andin winter time, this can be an excellent snowshoeing area.
