Burns Farm is conservation land managed by the Beaver Brook Association in Milford, NH, attached to the Hitchiner Town Forest. The Burns Farm Trails North offers an easy 2.8-mile loop hike that features a family-friendly forest walk, while the Burns Hill & Burns Farm South route is an easy to moderate 3.1-mile loop that features a summit of Burns Hill within the Hitchiner Town Forest. Hikers will experience walking along mowed fields full of wildflowers and forest paths flanked by mountain laurel, partridge berry, ferns and blueberries, with the forest trails having typical roots and rocks that are easy to navigate for the majority of the hike. The trail features a beautiful brook running through the inside of the loop, and includes a Story Book Walk installed along the trail for children. There is no fee to park or use the trails, and there is plenty of off-street parking available in a gravel parking area near the trailhead.
