Archer Meadowbrook Preserve consists of woods and wetlands located one mile southeast from the center of Chelmsford over one of the town’s main aquifers. The 54-acre preserve features 1.2 miles of marked trail suitable for walking, hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. The terrain is easy and ideal for families and casual walkers. River Meadow Brook forms the eastern boundary, while Putnam Brook winds through the property from west to east and empties into River Meadow Brook on the southern boundary. The preserve includes nature education signs, andleashed dogs are welcome.
