This location marks the intersection of Andover Road (also known as East B Hill Road) and the Appalachian Trail, providing access to the Cascade Trail to Dunn Falls. The popular Dunn Falls loop trail is 1.9 miles and generally considered moderately challenging. The hike offers scenic views along the West Branch of the Ellis River through conserved wilderness, passing pools, cascades and the spectacular Upper and Lower Dunn Falls. The route can be done as a loop by returning along the Appalachian Trail, oras an out-and-back following the blue blazes (Cascade Trail) to the base of Lower Dunn and back. The area features picnic tables, an outhouse, and excellent swimming holes.
